ABSTRACT

We have investigated the effects of magnetic fields with [140, 160, 180 and 240] mT, with different exposure time, on growth, morphology and antibiotic sensitivity of E-Coli [Type NCTC 1048]. E-Coli cell numbers were decreased in several cases with no dominant change in morphology or antibiotic sensitivity

ABSTRACT

This paper deals with the effects of He-Ne laser beam [2=623.8 NM, p=5mw] with the effective dose at 60 min. Irradiance =20.7 10[]3 J/m[]2 on growth, morphology and antibiotic sensitivity of E. Coli [Type NCTC 1048] E. Coli cell number were decreased significantly at 60 minute irradiation. No dominant change in morphology is observed with an interesting change in antibiotic sensitivity

ABSTRACT

The task assumed by this study is the collection and analysis of numerical data concering the emotionality and the personality style in students of different colleges of Salahalddin University. The psychometric assessment of the students was based on Middlesex Hospital Questionaire test [MHQ]. The analysis of the data obtained from 300 students, revealed that there was a significant difference between the scores with regard to general emotionality, anxiety and hysterical status among the students of different Colleges. Evidently the scores were higher by the students of scientific [professional] College than that of humanity Colleges students. Hence it is concluded that the academic discipline, the profession and scientific complexity have a significant effect on human mental process and behaviour so it suggests that psychometric analysis may provide a vital information about the psychological status of different College students in our country. It will be much useful, if further studies are carried out in different University to establish this fact. Undoubtedly, this study is the most important single step towards maximizing the benefits gained from our graduates in future during their contribution in the development, enhancement and application of science, technology, arts and social goal
